Show LARGE AUDIENCE ENJOYS MHS SPRING CONCERT J An overflow crowd of Milford residents and school patrons jammed the Milford High School auditorium last Thursday evening eve-ning for the Milford High School spring concert, directed by Music Mu-sic Instructor Jerrald J. McDermott. McDer-mott. Numbers presented by the mixed chorus were the same as the Milford program at the Region Re-gion Six Music Festival at Beaver Beav-er Saturday, included "Jesus Priceless Treasure" by' Bach; "When to Thee Savior I Went," by Wagner, and other special numbers, not presented at the Festival, including "Donkey Serenade" Ser-enade" by Friml. Miss Karen Archer was ac-i ac-i companist. I The large audience was held spellbound by the band numbers, including a variety of numbers designed to please persons of all j musical tastes. I After the concert, the audi-I audi-I ence was loathe to leave, and as j they filed slowly from the build-! build-! ing, they praised the musicians and their instructor with enthu-j enthu-j siastic comment. |
