Show jffret TKttarb By MRS. ALMA SLY A very enjoyable program was presented Sunday evening for the 124 persons in attendance. The pageant which was to be presented by St. George Temple workers was postponed because of il'ness and weather conditions, condi-tions, but will be given at a later date. The program consisted of musical mu-sical numbers by Jeanette Stoker Stok-er and Aaron Hansen, and a talk by Mrs. Hansen. The Book of Mormon class was held at the Don Larsen home. Light refreshments were served to nine members. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Anis Openshaw. i Don't forget Ward Reunion I on March 21st It will be a "pot luck" dinner, with program I and late dancing. The festivities festivi-ties begin at 7 o'clock. There will be a temple excursion excur-sion by the High Priests on March 22nd. Anyone wishing to go should contact the bishopric. April 6th, the Mutual will J present the program for Sacra-1 ment meeting. "Between 40 and 50 people were present at the Relief Society So-ciety party Monday. Mrs. Venie Stott was toastmistress, and the following persons appeared on the program: Mrs. Edna Nichols, Nich-ols, Katherine Atkin and Ra-mona Ra-mona Smith, Eunice Larsen, and stake officers Cora Jones and Ardath Outzen. Luncheon was at 1 o'clock and each lady was presented with a daffodill. Primary Union meeting will be held next Thursday, March 27th ,at 8 o'clock. All officers and teachers are reminded to be present. For "seat drive," those not yet contacted may assist by dropping around either at the Sheril Niellos Niell-os or E. C. Edwards home. It would be greatly appreciated. On April 1st the M I A of the Second Ward is to be favored with a one-act play from Beaver. Beav-er. It is to be presented by Mrs. Naomi Baker. Our Mutual has been invited to attend; however, there will still be Mutual on our night. |
