' Dale Mathews, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mathews, who is emp'oyed in Salt Lake City, spent the week-end with his parents. ( Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Terry I of Midvale also enjoyed the I week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins, and were present to hear the testi-i testi-i monial of their brother Harrell. I Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hollings-head Hollings-head and children spent Saturday Satur-day with Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hollingshead, returning to the Capitol City on Sunday, where Clyde is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Boyter j and three -children of Panguitch i spent several days visiting at I the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock. ! i Mrs. Druella Hall was on the Happy Birthday list last week, Her family gathered to pay her tribute and to enjoy an evening of visiting and games. A lovely lunch was served by Mr. and Mrs. Hall to Mr. and Mrs. Vance Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Claus Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Carter, and Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Carter. Mrs. Merle Bradfield was happily surprised on Wednesday,- Feb. 6, when friends dropped in to wish her a Happy Hap-py Birthday. The evening was spent playing canasta and enjoying en-joying light refreshments, by Mr.- and Mrs. Obra Myers, Mr. land Mrs. Darwin Marshall, and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, and ! of course Truman Bradfield. Mr. JFtulon Eyre underwent 1 a tonsillectomy at the Milford Hospital on Thursday. He re-' re-' turned to his home on Friday 1 and is getting along fine. , Mrs. Daisy Gillins entered , the Iron County Hospital on Wednesday, where she under- went surgery. She returned to I her home on Wednesday and is j recuperating marvelousdy. j Mary Lue Bradfield, daughter daugh-ter of the Truman Bradfields, ' enjoyed a belated birthday on Feb. 7; Jan. 13 being the actual birthdate. Many friends came to enjoy the party and the refreshments re-freshments of candy, pop and gum. Mary Lue is now seven years old. " ' Sunday School services were conducted by Supt. Milton Al-brecht: Al-brecht: - Sunday evening Sacrament Sac-rament meeting was in charge of Counselor Ralph Pearson. Harrell Gillins, returned missionary mis-sionary from the Wyoming-Colorado Wyoming-Colorado section, gave a fine talk at the Sacrament meeting. Mrs.: Effie Marshall and Mrs. Ed' Bohn of Beaver celebrated . their birthdays at the home of Mrs. Marshall on Feb. 10th, when a turkey dinner with all the trimmings was enjoyed.
