Show RELIEF SOCIETY HOLDS CONVENTION HERE Relief Society visiting teachers' teach-ers' convention was held in the Milford Ward Relief Society hall Tuesday, November 30, at 2:30 p.m. Stake board members in attendance were Mamie Hoopes, Kate Murdock, Lizzy Griffiths and Arvilla Kirksick of Beaver, and Ardath Outzen of Milford. Inspiring talks were given by Mrs. Hoopes and Mrs. Outzen on "Preparation and Responsibility of a Visiting Teacher." Mrs. Murdock urged the teachers to achieve 100 per cent in their visits this year. Hannah Smith, teacher supervisor, super-visor, also urged the attainment of 100 per cent of visits by teachers teach-ers of the Milford Ward Relief Society. Mrs. Gertrude Fisher, teachers' topic instructor, spoke on the importance of Home Night observance. The program consisted of a clarinet solo by Harlow Anderson, Ander-son, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Eddie Anderson; a reading by Mrs. Barbara Lyman, and a vocal solo by Joan Smith, accompanied accom-panied by Sherrol Stott. A social and refreshments followed. |
