Show Maanj Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Owens of Portola, Calif., called on Mrs. Maud Stoker and family for a short visit Sunday morning on their way back home after a vacation va-cation in Utah. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Merry-weather Merry-weather and children motored to Helper last week to spend Thanksgiving Day with Mrs. Merryweather's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin McPhie. They also visited in Provo with Mr. Merry-weather's Merry-weather's parents and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merrywea-ther Merrywea-ther and Max, Keith and Frank Jr. Mrs. Gertrude Harriman of Pioche, Nev. has been the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones the past week . Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones will leave Friday for a visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nielsen and Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Garzard, and Mr. and Mrs. Harriman, Har-riman, in Pioche, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and family will move to Cedar City to make their home in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Blackburn of Minersville took their children chil-dren to Salt Lake City to see the Christmas parade. FOR SALE Upright Piano. Phone 92-M. Mrs. Clyde Wadsworth and two children of Pioche, Nev; are visiting in Milford. They are staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brannon. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bow-en Bow-en were in - Milford Monday calling on old friends. The Bow-ens Bow-ens were enroute to southern California where they will spend the winter. Miss Patricia Smith, an A C College student, and Robert and Leak Holmes of Cedar City were in Milford spending their Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith. Mrs. E. L. Smith and daughter Lucille and Joe Ann, were in Salt Lake City one day last week. Lucille has now returned to her studies at the B A C College Col-lege in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Hughes of Logan, Vernon Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hughes of Kem-merer, Kem-merer, Wym., Major and Mrs. C. M. Johnson and children, Alan and Kathy, were guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes for Thanksgiving dinner and over the Thanksc giving holidays. Major and Mrs. Johnson left Wednesday for home in Camp Lynne, N. C, after an extended visit in Milford. Judge and Mrs. O. C. Koch left for Salt Lake City Tuesday of last week, where they spent Thanksgiving with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hawkins and family. Mr. L Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Belliston were in Delta last Saturday attending at-tending a bridal shower in honor hon-or of a niece, Mrs. Lois Miller Hogan, who was recently married mar-ried torfMr. Roy Hogan. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith and two children, of Beaver, spent Thanksgiving day with the Hickman Hick-man family. Mrs. Alma Voorhees and daughter, Beverly, of Salt Lake City, were visiting in Milford last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Williams j and daughters, Susan and Sally spent their Thanksgiving day on a ranch near Cedar City with Mrs. Williams' nephew and neive, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Armstrong. Arm-strong. Mrs. Jeanette Bingham and baby are in Milford visiting. Mrs. Ruben Griffiths of Coalville, Coal-ville, Wyo., is here with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain Chamber-lain and family and Mr. Ray Griffiths. Mrs. Chamberlain and daughter Bala Rae will return with her mother to Coalville where they will visit for a short time. Koch attended the Fall Reunion, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and attended to business matters while in the city. The Smith brothers, Owen Jr., Albert and John, have returned to their studies, at the Utah University, Uni-versity, after spending Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen R. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. David C. Erick-son Erick-son and daughter were in Ogden over the holidays with Mrs. Erickson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Short. |
