Show NEWS NOTES FROM GREENVILLE By MRS. GEO. A. HORTON Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Atkin and son of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mr. and Mrs. Don Atkin and family of Boulder City were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. David Atkin last week. Lewis and family fam-ily left Saturday on a trip to Yellowstone Park. Don and family remained until Monday afternoon and returned to Boulder Bould-er City. July 5th was a full day of celebration in Greenville. One of the main events being the Softball game between the married mar-ried men and the married women. Due to the fact that the umpires were very fair and impartial, im-partial, the score was 18 to 4 in favor of the women. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton and family and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Horton and son of Milford Mil-ford .spent July 5th in Greenville. Green-ville. Misses Nadine White and Charlene Nichols of Milford were guests of the G. A. Hor-tons Hor-tons on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Toone of Kaysville, Utah are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. M, Williams. A large group of people from Beaver and surrounding places attended the program here Monr day and viewed the very fine parade. After the Softball game in the afternoon, the crowd all gathered gath-ered at the race track south of town and enjoyed a number of closely contested races. In the evening a lively group enjoyed dancing until 2:00 a.m. |
