Show Mr. E. R. Guye. chief dispatcher dis-patcher for the Union Pacific at Milford since 1941, has moved with Mrs. Guye to Salt Lake, where Elmer will hold down the : night chief dispatcher's desk. Mr. Guye is succeeded byMr. C. C. iLoback, who has been night chief here since 1942. Little Doug Cook was brought home from Salt Lake this week, after spending four weeks in the hospital, in a critical condition from a bowel obstruction, but is again well on the way to recovery. re-covery. Mrs. R. H. Snyder, a sister of Mr. Cook, stayed at the hospital while the young lad was in serious condition, but has returned re-turned to her home in Huntington Hunting-ton Park, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Farrar and Mrs. Gertrude Cook left for Kansas on Tuesday, to spend the winter. Mrs. Farrar is a sister of Mrs. Cook. Mr. and Mrs, Robert Munford and children, of Hurricane, were in Milford Sunday, visiting at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Harvey Dean. Mr. and Mrs. John Killam of Cedar City were Milford visitors visit-ors over the week-end, attending attend-ing to business and visiting with Cecil and Bob Killam. How C. Limb left Saturday evening to report to his squadron squad-ron at San Diego, after several months spent in speciaist school in Florida, and visiting has relatives rel-atives in Milford, ' Mrs. J. M, Hughes, Mrs. LaMar Outzen, Mrs. D. L. Kesler, Mrs. Lou Moore, Mrs, Jesse Frazier, Mrs. V, W, Spainhower, Mrs. Ruth Leany and Mrs. George Smith were In Beaver last Sunday, Sun-day, attending the Relief Society Union meeting. Owen Jr., Albert, and John Smith were in Milford last week end, visiting relatives and friends. They returned to Salt Lake on Sunday, where Owen and Albert enter the University' of Utah, and John the West High school. Mrs. Owen R. Smith will leave today for Oakland, Calif., for a visit with her daughter, Mrs. LeRoy W. Klein. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Fisher returned Tuesday from a week's visit to the Los Angeles area. Vance attended a two-day eon vention of Penney store managers, man-agers, and renewed acquaintance with A. W. Hughes, president of the company and former manager man-ager of the Eureka, Utah, store. The Fishers enjoyed their first airplane ride, a trip in an amphibian am-phibian to Avalon. Mrs. K. B. Coon and son Herbert Her-bert spent the week-end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. A. L. McDonald and Mrs. K. B. Coon, fervent supporters of Milford High school's athletic athlet-ic teams, attended the football game in Beaver last Friday. Claudia Sue Morris was born underwent an operation on his knee. If Mr. Briscoe's condition condi-tion permits, he will return with Mrs. Briscoe this week-end. Bishop George C. Goodwin and First Counselor Carlyle Gronning will leave Saturday o attend the General Conference of the L. D. S. Church. to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Morris in a Los Angels hospital on Sept. 23.
