Show Pari Passu Club holds guest evening Pari Passu Club held its annual an-nual guest day recently at the Community Service Center. A very special welcome was extended ex-tended to all members and guests by Naomi McKenzie, club president. A delicious dinner was enjoyed enjoy-ed by the group hosted by Ar-lena Ar-lena Lofgren, Lucille Roylance, Erma Peterson, Betty Sumsion and Anna Marie Palfreyman. Betty Sumsion gave tribute to wives, mothers, sisters, sweethearts and grandmothers in poetry. Anna Marie Palfreyman Palfrey-man introduced the program. "The Candidates," a male quartet quar-tet from BYU who are physical education staff members including in-cluding Bob Burgener, Rolli Bestor, McKay Rawlins and Ron Rhodes. Mi. Rawlins was the master of ceremonies for the group. They sang in barbershop bar-bershop harmony and sang several sev-eral numbers. A gift was presented pre-sented to the performers. Sixteen Six-teen members and 22 guests were in attendance. |
