Show Hobble Creek and Whiting Parks being readied; reservations due Clean-up work and heavy maintenance has begun on the district recreation sites at Balsam, Bal-sam, Birch, Dry Creek, Cherry, Kolob, Lone Fir and Sulphur in Hobble Creek Canyon and also the Whiting Park in Maple Canyon. Also being worked on will be the forest camps at Diamond, Dia-mond, Palmyra and Three Forks in the Diamond Fork drainage, announces Ranger Raymond J. Evans. The sites will be opened open-ed as the work is completed. The only exceptions to this will be those sites that require re-quire tree work. Sites will be closed when this work is scheduled. sched-uled. Ranger Evans reminds the public that the areas are a part of the federal recreation fee program and require entrance en-trance fees or the Golden Eagle Passport. |
