Show - . , Annual April Art Exhibit drawing good crowds, favorable comment "At the Sing," by R. Brownell McGrea. Others are, "Desert Symphony." by Louis Heinz-man; Heinz-man; "Sunlight and Shadow," by Olive Gloe; "High Country" by Conrad Shewering, and "Farm House" by Valoy Eaton. Good comments from the public praising the building's natural beauty and its immaculate immacu-late upkeep and the way the paintings are displayed have been made. Letters of well wishes have alsc been received from many of the artists expressing ex-pressing their desire to see the show in the future. The art museum is open daily throughout the April show from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Springville club women are cooperating co-operating in acting as receptionists recep-tionists for the exhibit. The Springville Art Museum featuring the current April National Na-tional Art Exhibit is a favorite attraction judging from the number of visitors to the building. build-ing. On the opening day of the ex- ! hibit. there were 1000 who called tc view the popular annual an-nual exhibit, announces Bruce Braithwaite, director. On each ot the two succeeding Sundays there have been registered approximately ap-proximately 600 each day. Ov-ei Ov-ei 6000 have seen the show to j date. Among the many visitors I have been students from high schools as far away as Moab on the south and Smithfield on the north. On the guest reg- istei are names repersenting people from all over the western west-ern states and students from thioughout the country. Olat Moller, consistent ex-hibitoi ex-hibitoi from Idaho, and Fred Ochi, anothei Idaho artist from Ida he Falls, have been two of the out-oi -state visitors to the gallery. Activities have been numerous num-erous at the art museum throughout the month to date, and several other outstanding events such as the Federated Women's Club Art Tea, Saturday, Satur-day, the statewide Kiwanis art banquet tonight and the climatic Art Ball on April 26 are but three ot the larger events and tours scheduled.
