Show Drug problem aired at club Companions Club, which met last Thursday at the home of Dorothy Stewart, heard an enlightening en-lightening discussion of the drug problem by Ernest Eber-hardt. Eber-hardt. "The number of inmates at the state prison connected with drug addiction has doubled dou-bled in the last two years," he stated. He gave further information infor-mation on the growing problem spreading over the country. Winners were announced in the club fund-raising project. Baby quilts were won by Mrs. Eugena Carlen and Mrs. Arvil Bird. Monejr derived from the project will be used to buy Christmas presents for patients at the Youth Center of the State Hospital in Provo. Mrs. Mae Huntington, honorary hon-orary member, was a special guest. Refreshments were served serv-ed to 19 members. Next meeting will be a Christmas party, December 19 at the home of Shirley Thorn. Gifts will be exchanged |
