Show Club enjoys films on wildlife An interesting evening was spent by Pari Passu Club members when they met at the home of Anna Ostlund to hear a talk on conservation. R. H. (Cap) Blohm, a retired steel-worker steel-worker was the speaker. He had photographed a number of colorful films which he showed the club along with his own compilation and narration. Many of the pictures were taken of wild life near Utah Lake and in nearby canyons. He also showed a film entitled, Land of Standing Rocks and Maze," depicting the beautiful desert lands and canyons. Still another was huming birds. During Dur-ing the evening he also presented present-ed a number of lovely ink drawings to club members. Furnishing the music was Tamara Holly, granddaughter of the hostess, who played guitar gui-tar solos. LaVon Hansen, club vice president, presided during the evening and asked Lucille Roy-lance Roy-lance to read the club collect. The next regular meeting of the club was announced for April 17 at the home of Wanda Peay. The evening concluded with luncheon served by the hostess to members and guests, the latter lat-ter including Karen Holley and Mrs. R. G. Blohm. |
