Thorn, Springville contractor, was re-elected president pres-ident of the Brigham Young University Research Foundation at a recent meeting marking the first year of operation for the organization. The Foundation is a non-profit corporation devoted to building build-ing industry and income .for BYU. Other officers are Dr. William Wil-liam F. Edwards, president of First Securities Investment Corp., G. Kenneth Handley, partner of Goodbody & Co., and Sidney Horman, president of Horman Construction Co., all vice presidents; Kline D. Strong, Salt Lake City, attorney, attor-ney, secretary; and J. Hamilton Calder, manager of Walker Bank of Provo, treasurer. David B. Haight, assistant to the president of BYU, and Ben E. Lewis, BYU vice president, were elected to the executive committee, replacing Joseph T. Bentley, now vice chancellor of Church Schools, and Raymond1 E. Beckham, director of Development De-velopment for BYU. The Board of Trustees of the organization includes 20 nationally nation-ally and regionally noted in- Grant S.
