Show Veterans here may obtain data on Hay 24 Mr. Elmer J. Smith, manager of the Vteerans Administration Regional Office at Salt Lake City, announced today that special awayfrom-office services serv-ices for veterans residing in the Provo area will be available at the Utah Employment Security Office, 190 West 800 North, Provo, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Wed-nesday, May 24. Mr. Smith stated this special service to veterans residing in Liic riuvu nico, win uc piuviucu by Mr. Russell R. Neilam, contact con-tact Representative of the Salt Lake Regional Office, and is primarily for the purpose of providing information and assistance as-sistance to veterans with active ac-tive military service since January Jan-uary 31, 1955, pertaining to benefits provided under the new GI Bill, Public Law 89-358. Mr. Neilam will have complete information infor-mation on, and the application forms used, in applying for educational ed-ucational assistance provided under the new GI Bill. In addition, ad-dition, he will be able to provide pro-vide full service in applying for all other benefits administered by VA. I Mr. Smith emphasized that information and service on all programs administered by Veterans Vet-erans Administration are available avail-able by letter, telephone, or personal per-sonal visit to the Regional Office Of-fice located in the Federal Building, 125 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. |
