Show Phone company worker retires Arthur Brown, Mount a i n States Telephone executive, retired January 31, with more than 40 years service. He began be-gan working for the Mountain States Company in September 1924 at Price, when that exchange ex-change was purchased from an independent company. Hal L. Andersen, a native of Sanpete County will succeed Mr. Brown as District Plant Superintendent. Mr. Andersen is a veteran telephone company com-pany employee with 24 years service. He began his career in Salt Lake City as a stockman He served as a Service Foreman Fore-man at Clearfield; manager at Vernal; supervising service ' foreman of a group of ex-! ex-! changes in southern Utah with headquarters in Cedar City and internal auditor in Denver, Colorado. For many years, he 1 has been active in cmmunity : service clubs and Chamber oi Commerce work. |
