Show yewd rioted . . . Sir. and Mrs. A. W. Cherrington Cher-rington have had as house guests the past month, their daughter, Mrs. Jane C. Norton and two sons, Howard and Michael of Chicago, 111. They were accompanied home by Joyce Clark, a niece, daughter I of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Clark of Snowflake, Arizona, vho will spend six weeks vacation in Chicago. Mrs. Clark and .children .chil-dren came from Snowflake while Jane was here and spent ten days. Her oldest daughter, Karen, at Beauty School in Salt Lake and a friend, spent the weekend at the Cherring-ton Cherring-ton home. Other guests at the Cherrington home have been a son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cherrington and - daughter daugh-ter Colleen, who spen Thursday Thurs-day night. Jack has been going go-ing to summer school at BYU and his wife came down to accompany ac-company him home. Dinners and other entertainment have honored the visitors including dinner given by Mrs. Blaine Murdock and another by Mrs. Bert Cherrington. Also the Cherringtons gave a special dinner with guests including, besides the visitors, Mi', and Mrs. Blaine Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cherrington and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cherrington and family. Among the ..many out-of-town relatives at Kelly's Grove Thursday for the Peirce family fam-ily reunion, were: Mr. and Mrs. Parley Peirce, Mrs. La-Von La-Von Hales, Mrs. Nellie D. Knowlton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mattie Mehr, Los Angeles, Ange-les, recently returned from Hawaii; Myrtle P. Peirce of Orem; Mrs. Cleo Heavener, June Peirce and Mrs; Lucille Blanchard of Springville. Barbara K. Graber, Orinda, Calif., who participated in the Powder Puff Derby recently from the west coast to New Jersey, put her airplane down at the Provo airport Thursday afternoon of last week, and came to Springville for a visit vis-it with her grandmother, Mrs. Maud Roylance. She was accompanied ac-companied by her co-pilot, Hi-aleah Hi-aleah Reilich also from California. Calif-ornia. They reported their plane came in 13th in the race in which 44 participated. Mrs. Graber is an instructor in California. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mell Kelly of Oakland, formerly of Springville. |
