Show Funeral rites today for Karen Patrick Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m., at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Provo, Pro-vo, for Mrs. Karen Laura Alle-man Alle-man Patrick, 30, wife of Morris Mor-ris Patrick, who died Tuesday, July 21, 1964, at her home in Provo. Bishop Arnold Davis of the First Ward will officiate. offici-ate. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, directed by Berg Mortuary. Mrs. Patrick was born in Springville, Oct. 22, 1933, a daughter of Lynn and Laura Shurtluff Alleman. She attended at-tended schools here and graduated grad-uated as an honor student from Springville High School. She also graduated with high honors from Brigham Young University with a major in English and, taught a year at Spanish Fork High School. She was married to Mr. Patrick, Pat-rick, August 19, 1955, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they lived in Springville a year after their marriage. Later La-ter they resided in Boise, Idaho Ida-ho a year; in Grand Junction, Colo., two years and hed made their home in Provo since 1961. Her hobby was oil and water-color painting. Surviving besides her husband hus-band are three sons, Chris, Bruce and Scott, the youngest, young-est, eight months old; her parents par-ents and a brother and a sister, sis-ter, Robert Alleman and Mrs. Bernell (Linda) Hutchins all of Springville; also a grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Ruth Shurtluffof Oakland, Calif. |
