Show Letter to the Editor Parents urged to cooperate for discipline There has been much rejoicing rejoic-ing in our town with the announcement an-nouncement of the future reopening re-opening of the Rivoli Theatre. The closing of the theatre some months ago was in many ways a loss to the citizens, young and old, of our city. A good thearte has always been a sign of a progressive community and Springville has always had a theatre. However, with this welcome news, our problems are by no means solved. As parents we cannot slip back into complacency and ignore ig-nore our responsibilities to our children concerning respect for other people's property, discipline, disci-pline, proper attitudes and social so-cial conduct. We must not turn our children loose to run like vandals of the fifth century who wrecked havoc wherever they went. For their sakes and the future operation of the Rivoli we must never let these things become a problem again. If it means that parents be called on to help keep peace and order, we must be ready to give our support when and where it is needed. Not only our moral support but our financial aid as ticket buyers will be needed to back up our good intentions. Mr. Gilhool is giving us another an-other chance and we must not let him down. We understand that he plans on showing wholesome and entertaining types of movies and if we cooperate co-operate with him, this . truly can be a community endeavor worth working for.
