Show BYU faces Utes in Salt Lake What makes the Redskins run so well? That's the riddle BYU's basketball bas-ketball team will be trying to solve Saturday when it travels to Salt Lake City to resume WAC warfare with its longtime long-time rival to the north. Everyone but the Redskins themselves seem puzzled at Utah's phenominal rise on the basketball scene. From a preseason pre-season placement deep among the league's also-rans, the Utes have risen to a ranking among the top college teams in the Western half of the nation. While this may be an item of conversation among all basketball bas-ketball fans, it remains a source of deep concern to Coach Stan Watts and his ca-gers ca-gers who must face Utah Saturday Sat-urday night in Einar Nielsen Filedhouse. Only a tight 57-56 decision over the Pioneers in a game played at Provo last Saturday saved the Mountain Cats from a complete blanking.
