Show Red Cross reports on services given in Springville, Mapleton C' Utah County .citizens re-iived re-iived more than $60,000 in Materials and services given by ie American Red Cross in i;)63, according to the annual report of the Utah County Chapter released today. For the fourth consecutive year the local Red Cross activities ac-tivities have increased over the preceding year. The largest single benefit received re-ceived was 14,630 cc of gamma globulin given by the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Red Cross Blood Center Cen-ter and valued at $51,200, an increase of $3,200 over 1962. Distribution in Springville and Mapleton was 1,502 cc valued at $5,257. Home service cases in 1963 totalled 464, with 31 of these in Springville and Mapleton. These included emergency aid to Utah County servicmen and dependents, with loans totalling $1,300 and 220 long distance and overseas messages being provided by the chapter for families representing every binson, 175; Colleen Bird, 170; Josie King, 162. Forty schools, including every ev-ery city in Utah County, participated par-ticipated in the Junior Red Cross programs an increase of five schools over 1962.
