Show Variety show slated bv SU Thunderettes CEDAR CITY "Hooked on Dancing," .a variety show produced by the Southern Utah State College Thunderettes, will be presented Friday at SUSC. Showtime is at 8 p.m. in the SUSC War Memorial Fieldhouse. Tickets are $2 lor adults, and $1 lor children and SUSC students, with proceeds helping to defray show expenses. "A number of guest appearances and specialty numbers are on the agenda," said Thunderette Advisor Nancy Stringham, assistant professor of physical education at SUSC. "Were put together a show the whole family will enjoy." The Thunderettes, SUSC's 19-member dance-drill team, will perform several numbers, num-bers, among them a cancan, gypsy and prop numbers, and a routine choreographed to the popular song "New York, New York." Guest appearances by the Kangerettes and Who-ten-tats, mini-drill teams from Cedar City taught by Thunderettes Karen Wiebe and Laurel Thurston, are also on the program along with Nancy Sorensen's clogging group, the Sunshine Kids. Dave Mollica, 1980 all Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and honorable mention all-American all-American quarterback lor the Thunderbirds, will make a special guest appearance with his "Elvis Numbers." "Hooked on Dancing" will also feature a special number by the SUSC Cheerleaders. "Hooked on Dancing," a variety show produced by SUSC's dance-drill team, the Thunderettes, will be Friday at 8 p.m. in the SUSC War Memorial Will III 1MMMMMMMMMI Fieldhouse.
