Show I 1 Annual art exhibition scheduled at SUSC CEDAR CITY -"Artists Craftsmen '82" the Cedar City Art Committee's 41st annual exhibition, opens April 4 at the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery on the . Southern Utah State College campus. An opening reception will be that evening with a lecture by jurior Dale L. Nish, the author of several books on creative and artistic woodturning. Nish, whose work has appeared in numerous national publications, will address the topic "Looking Beyond Materials." Co-juror for the show is Thomas A. Leek cucator of the gallery. The reception will begin at 7 p.m., and the lecture is scheduled for 8 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and served by the Cedar City Art Committee. The juried show represents a wide range of styles and materials by artists from 24 states, it is being funded by private donations and a grant from the Utah Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts. "Over 70 pieces will be included in the show," said Eric Brown, Cedar City Art Committee chairman. ''Th exhibition is a verj exciting one, with work; in glass, ceramics, metal fiber and wood." "Artists Craftsmer '82" will continue at the SUSC gallery through April 30. Gallery hours are 10a.m. to5 p.m. and to 9 p.m. weekdays, anc from 1 to 6 p.m. Satur days and Sundays.
