It is particularly par-ticularly important for those who plan to play football or wrestle," says Cedar High Coach Dave Jensen. It was with this idea in mind that Coach Jensen organized the "Lift-A-Thon," held at the Cedar High School recently. Approximately 50 boys participated in the competition, doing benches and squats. In order to participate each boy had to get at least 10 sponsors to pledge a certain amount of money (ususally x- to 1 cent a pound) for what the boy would lift. All proceeds will go towards purchasing pur-chasing more weight lifting equipment. The boys were broken into four different groups according to their size.
