In all streams and wrs of the state, a daily bag or possession limit must not include more than two trout or salmon over 13 inches. The size limit is an effort to increase in-crease the number of large fish in rivers and streams. Waters closed to fishing in the state include Kolob Creek upstream from Kolob Reservoir and Newcastle Reservoir in Iron County. A 1981 fishing proclamation containing all regulations pertaining to fishing is an essential item for all fishing trips. Proclamations may be obtained from license agents and all Wildlife Resources offices. A young participant in the Special Opympics shows the joy of finishing the race. Over 50 volunteers helped make the Southern Utah Special Olympics a tremendous success. There were over 75 participants par-ticipants in the acitivies and lots of spectator support added to the enthusiasm. |
