Show FARMERS NET CASH INCOME DOWN FROM '79 According to U.S. Department De-partment of Agriculture officials, of-ficials, the American farm -er's net cash income for 1980 is forcast at about 10 to 12 percent less than last year. Based on the UJS.D.A.' . report, R.G. Gardner, County Executive Director for the ASCS In Beaver Co. said that total cash receipts by farmers should be about $142 billion In 1980. This total is $6 billion more than the $136 billion received last year, or about a 5 Increase. Just how well are farmers farm-ers doing? The same report re-port indicated that farmers farm-ers cash expenses for the production of commodities will probably be about $10 billion more than for 1979. |
