Show Tracy walkerJJfP Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bellis-ton Bellis-ton enjoyed a nice visit from their neice and nephew, Joe and Judy Chappell. The couple flew in from Santa -quin. They enjoyed a nice dinner with the Bellistun's. Also visiting was grandson, Todd Atkin, who is living in Cedar. Todd enjoyed Sun -day dinner with his grandparents. grand-parents. Curtis and Kim Baxter, of Salt Lake City and their friends, Brent and Donna Tressler, and family, of Albany, Al-bany, Georgia, were in Mil-ford Mil-ford last week visting with Norman Baxter. From here they went on to visit Zion and Bryce Canyons. Mary Lund is home on leave from the Army and is i staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund. Mary will be home for two weeks before leaving to serve in Germany. Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Hickman Hick-man enjoyed a weekend with many family members. Here for a visit were grandchildren grandchil-dren Jenny and Mike Ogden, of Delta; Doug Hickman, of Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brannon and family, fami-ly, of Salt Lake; and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Van Sweven-son, Sweven-son, of Bountiful. They all went pinenut picking and had an all around great time. Visiting with Mr. andMrs. Doyle Sly this past week, were Zelma Alger, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Alger and their six children. Then Sun day Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers joined the Slys and company for dinner, and to watch the LDS Conference on TV. Mr. and Mrs. Pal Tucker, Tuck-er, of Bishop, CA, were in Milford last week visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tucker, and Alden and Bene Johnson. Also, a cousin of Frank's, Mr.Tupper Jonesm and his wife and family, of Wendon, AZ, were here visiting family, and enjoying enjoy-ing the scenic areas of Southern Utah. Last Thursday, the Beaver Bea-ver County 4-Hers had their awards program in the Ml-nersville Ml-nersville Elementary School. All those whose 4-H projects went - to the State Fair, placed in the competition and were awarded award-ed their ribbons. Those from Milford receiving re-ceiving ribbons were: Jamie Maxey, blue; Nicki Whaley, red; A ngelique Hannah, Han-nah, red. Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher are pleased to announce an-nounce the arrival of a new grandson born to Tim and Diane Fisher. Master John Timothy Fisher, Jr., was form Friday, October 3, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. He has a brother, Jeffrey and a sister, Melissa, Melis-sa, to greet him. Jeffrey and Melissa are staying with their grandparents. Tom and -Bobby James were pleased to have their son, Tommy James, of Weekend company at the home of Billie and Glenn Osborne were Barbara and Frank Jones, of Springville; Shauna Summers, husband Dave, and grandchildren, Jessica and Dannie. TheOs-bornes TheOs-bornes had a family dinner on Sunday, Jerald and Jean-ette Jean-ette Stoker, Lori and Sue Ann Stoker, of Cedar; Helen and Clair Gillins also visited. Last Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fotheringham of Springdale, packed up their camping gear and headed head-ed out for Mt. Wheeler. There they met with Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter and the group enjoyed hunting for pine nuts and relaxing in the beautiful fall scenery of the mountain. They all returned Friday. Bountiful down to visit last week. While here they helped help-ed him celebrate his birthday. birth-day. Clair and Helen Gillins went to Las Vegas and visited visit-ed with Mr. and Mrs. Bob McKnight, and Afton Rogers. Rog-ers. On their way home they stopped in Cedar City and visited with Gerald and Jean -ette Stoker and Mrs. Steven Stoker and family. Then they also had some company com-pany visiting at their home, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mosh-er, Mosh-er, of Yucaipa, California, and Mrs. Afton Rogers, of Las Vegas. Max and Iona Baxter spent several days in the Lehman Cave area picking pine nuts. |
