Show Cowboys spoil TSgeir Homecoming 22-0 BY BRYAN SHERWOOD Milford lost to the Kanab Cowboys Friday night, by the score of 22 - 0. The Tigers played the Cowboys on even terms the first half as ; the score at intermission was 0 to 0. The Cowboys went to work in the 3rd quarter as the Tiger defense, who had been on the field most of the game, was unable to contain Kanab any longer and they scored on a 65 yard romp up the middle, with 10:59 left in the quarter. From then on it was all downhill for the Tigers, Ti-gers, as they were unable to get any offense going and were caught for two safetys a TD pass and a punt return re-turn for a TD to end the scoring. As usual, Milford had 4 or 5 outstanding players on defense. de-fense. Milford has had to make some offensive adjustments adjust-ments in the last two weeks other long evening for the Tigers and their fans. Stats: Tackles - Tolman, 14, Johnson 11, Sherwood 9, White 7, Lowe and Bolton Bol-ton 6, Rod Rose 5, Hardy 4, Puffer 3, Randy Rose and Moody 2, Davis andWeyerl. Fumble Recoveries: D. White. The Tigers have a bye this week, then take on the Parowan Rams, in a home game, Thursday, October 16. however, in order for any offense of-fense to work it has to have a strong line, and the only time Milford has shown any kind of line at all was against Delta Del-ta and Parowan in their first two Ballgames. You can bet Coaches Barnes and Jensen will be spending some extra ex-tra time in practice on this problem, and hopefully will have them ready when they entertain Parowan next Thursday.
