Show Tracy Walker and other games were played and a good time was had by all. After the reunion, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Raines, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hanley, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Gale, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Holmes, and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Carter, all went to the Alan Mayer home, where they visited and played games and enjoyed refreshments. Visiting with Mr. andMrs. Alden Johnson this past week and staying for the U.P. family Days are Jim and Sandy Trlndel and Robbie, of Moorpark , CA; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Schlegal, Sr., of Ojai, CA;Mr. andMrs. Ralph Schlegal, Jr., and daughter, Jennell, from Slmi,CA;Mrs. Diane Stanley and Bobbie, of Victorville, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Johnson and children, chil-dren, Jerry, Jackie andRox-ann, andRox-ann, of Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson, Jr. of Brookings, Brook-ings, Oregon, Kevin, Kyle and Kelly Johnson, of Salt Lake. Helping Mr. and Mrs. Johnson to entertain are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tucker. Steve and Marie Johnson, and children, Brett andMor-gan, andMor-gan, of Milford, will also be joining the family in celebrating cele-brating the U.P. Family Days. Mrs. Jeanette Kohler returned re-turned last week from a visit to San Diego, where she visited with her son, Ned Kohler, and his family. While there, she also visited her newly married granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Mrs. Don Higginson, formerly Rebecca Mash. Calys Lamb, daughter of Camille Lamb, celebrated her 2nd birthday last Sunday, Sun-day, with a cookout. Attending Attend-ing were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lamb, Lola Bridge and family, and Arbiteen Davis, Leola Dunham, Dun-ham, and Norman D. Lamb. Happy Birthday, Chalys. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Leppink went to Cedar last week to visit with their son and daughter in law, John and Thea Leppink, and stayed over the weekend to . celebrate the' 4th of July. Randy Hiatt has just returned re-turned home from his LDS Mission to Sydney, Austral-la. Austral-la. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hiatt, picked him up in Salt Lake City last Saturday. Randy will make a report on his mission at Sacrament Meeting, this Sunday at 2:45 p.m. in the 2nd Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Norton Nor-ton have just recently returned re-turned from a three week vacation In Anchorage, Alaska, Al-aska, where they visited with their daughter, and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Jay L. McCarrey. Mrs. Floyd Oxley traveled travel-ed to Nephi this past weekend week-end to celebrate the 4th of July with her sister and family Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Lorn ax and family. Mr. and Mrs. Max Price went to Delta last Saturday to attend the Cook family reunion at Helen Thomas'. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Prodzinski went to Scho-field Scho-field last week for a few days, where they met with friends and relatives to do some fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Puffer Puf-fer traveled to las Vegas to take Mrs. Puffer's mother moth-er and father, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Higton, to the Airport. The Hlgton's from Nottingham, Notting-ham, England, had visited here with the Puffers for the past two months. Visiting Mrs. Mary Raines this past weekend were her son, Jimmy and his wife, Lori, who had also attended the Class of '75 Reunion, at Cow Hollow. Also vlsltlne Mrs. Raines was daughter, Judy and Rod Ward and two of their families. Mrs. Raines has sold her home and will be moving to Salt Lake. Visiting with Mr. andMrs. Kent Hanley this past weekend week-end was their daughter, Peggy Peg-gy Hanley, and grandson, Jeremy, of Van Nuys, CA. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Whit-taker, Whit-taker, and family; Mr. and i Mrs. Mark Nelson, and Mr. j and Mrs. Ron Bailey, all I" went down to Gunlock Reser voir last Monday to water ski. Mr. and Mrs. DougCarter and Trevor, and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Long, and family, all went uptoMahoganyCave j last week to do some fishing. Brothers Gary and Terry Jefferson were in Milford for the 4th of July visiting with the Joe Duffy family. Tfiey had a' family dinner and also attending were Harold and Vvs Baxter. Visiting withNorman Bax-. ter this past week, and enjoying en-joying the 4th, were his children, chil-dren, Wade Meadows and daughter, Debbie, of Van Nuys; Mrs Lanl Williams, of Draper; Rev. andMrs. Brent Baxter, and children, Dana, Kristie and Timothy, of Montezuma Creek, Utah; and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Baxter, of Salt Lake. While here, Lanl also stayed with her sister, Mrs. Ronald Walker. The Class of 1975 held a Class Reunion at Cow Hollow Hol-low on July 5th. Horseshoes Ronnie and Sally Rose, aiw sons, Robbie and Roger, wem to Elko to bring back a grand, daughter. The Roses had their usual good luck, and hit the jackpot, bringing home 4 grandchildren -Ron. nle, Jeff and Jason, of Bat. tie Mountain; and Janie, 0( Elko. They are the children of Kerry Jury and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jury. Visiting at the home 0j their parents, Mr. and Mrs Frank Thompson, for the 4th of July holiday, Were Mr. and Mrs. Gale Mower (Connie) from Canutillo, tx and Mr. and Mrs. Baker Erlckson (Shanna) from Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. peter S' Martin had the pleasure of having all their family wlth them this past week. Those present were Mr. andMrs Darrell Farmer, and daugh! ter, Michelle, from Mem! phis, Tennessee; Mar! lene Holder, of Portland" Oregon; and Mr. and Mrs' Kyle Jones, and daughter' Andrea and Melissa, of Salt Lake City; Dr. and Mrs William R. Martin, and family, of Palo Alto, CA and daughter Patricia Ann' of Springville. While here they all visited Cedar Breaks, and had a camping trip in the Mineral Moun. tains. Several babies were bless this last Sunday in Milford. Rodney and Mary Jo Holm's had their baby daughter, Shelby Jo, blessed, with many friends and family in attendance. Shelby was blessed by her father. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kanell had their son, Leo G. Kan. ell II, blessed. Several fam. j ily members came to share in the celebration. They included: Mr. and Mrs.Asi White, of Van Nuys, CA.j Lehi White, of Van Nuys, Mrs. Jean Kanell, of Salt Lake City, also formerly of Minersyille; Hope Vernon Ver-non and her two sons, of Reno; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kanell and family, of North Salt Lake, and Mrs. Lee White, of Salt Lake. Little Leo was blessed by his father. Marc and Janet Douglas . had their infant daughter, ! Maranda Lee, blessed at the j Junior and Joan Davis home Sunday afternoon. She was blessed by her Grandpa Davis. Da-vis. Many loved ones and friends were there to share in their joy. - . . Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly this past week was their son and his family, fami-ly, Mr. and Mrs. OrenSly, and children, Melanie, Chris and Scott, of Fresno, CA. They then traveled to Salt Lake, where they visited with Burton Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. . jb Sly, and Chad. Mrs. Wllna Swain, and daughters, Laura and Nanette, Nanet-te, traveled to Saco, Montana Mon-tana two weeks ago to visit with Mrs. Swain's mother, and father, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fisher. They took 4 days going to Saco and visited visit-ed the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Nanette stayed there with her grandparents for the summer. Visiting with Mr. andMrs. was Mrs. Whittaker's sister, sis-ter, Darlene Benson, of Logan; Lo-gan; Gary and Debra Whit-taker, Whit-taker, and family of Cedar. And on their way to their new home in Antioch, CA, Brad and Shirley Whittaker, and family stopped for a visit. Also Mark and Karen Nelson, and daughter, Natalie, Nata-lie, were in Milford a week visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Whittaker, and Mr. andMrs. Elroy Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Coon took their daughter, Elaine, back to American Fork this past week. They then went to Heber to visit and enjoy the 4th of July activities with Mrs. Coon's brother, Karl Merryweather. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cox, and family, andMr. andMrs. Gary Delozier, and family, spent two days camping and fishing at Strawberry Flat this past week. Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Tolley spent their 4th of July weekend week-end at Otter Lake. They did some fishing. Their granddaughter, Debbie Winn left last Tuesday for Ogden to takeherStateBoardMedi-cal takeherStateBoardMedi-cal Exam. Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Carter Car-ter traveled to Midway to spend some time visiting with Nancy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gale, former for-mer residents of Milford. Visiting with Mr. andMrs. Frank Tucker this past week and staying to celebrate the U.P. Family Days, are her sister, and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Newman, of Whlttier, CA. They arrived ar-rived in Milford on Amtrak last Tuesday. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Albrecht this past week were Alan and Janice Syndergaard and daughter, A lis son, of Magna; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Albrecht, and family, of South Jordan; Julie Ju-lie Albrecht, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Reese, of Cedar; and Grandma Grand-ma and Grandpa Reese. They were all here to attend the blessing of CraigThompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Thompson, at the Milford LDS Church. After the blessing all were invited to a family dinner held at the home of the Albrechts. This past week the Sheldon Shel-don Albrecht family attended the Albrecht family reunion in Minersville, at the Claude Albrecht residence. |
