They soon will be getting ready to return re-turn to Arizona for the winter. win-ter. Lynnette Rowley is a budding bud-ding artist. She had her picture of the 'sleeping man of the moon' in the September issue of the Ruralite. Edie and Bernie Spangole have been transferred to Colorado. Bernie is with the U.S. Forest Service and Edie was our schoolteacher. The school children had a party for her last Friday, an'd then the gang at Lehman Cave gave a big Barbeque on Saturday. Food - good heavens! They fixed a lamb,, goat and beef roast and there was other food served. No one went away hungry or thirsty. They will be missed very much. Pat and Owen Gonder have a very special house guest. Miss Margaret Evans, of Wales is visiting on a 4-H exchange program. Everyone Every-one is enjoying her company. Jeannie and Darvin Wheeler and girls were in Salt Lake for a few days on business and when they returned re-turned home, Jeannie's sister, sis-ter, Marsha and family came with them. They had a really nice weekend. Carl and Aleeda Dear-den Dear-den are enjoying a well earn - things. Maybe that white stuff will soon be on the way. The leaves are beautiful beauti-ful and that sweater feels good. Remember - the only difference dif-ference between men and boys is the price of their toys. ed vacation with Lee and Zelma Dearden. It helps to get away for a while. I had to go to Salt Lake, so I took the kids, Fred, Baron and Lady a'ong. I really couldn't get away without them. When we go, there are never enough hours to do the visiting and running run-ning around we must do.Oh well, there is always the next time. But we always find the time to go to a swap meet, yard sale, or anything like that. I get lots of stocking stuffers. Now with fall upon us, eveyone is getting things in and covering up outdoor |
