Clyde Hollingshead, from Salt Lake City is here visiting visi-ting his brothers and sisters, the Marshall Hollingshead family, and the Milton Albrecht family. Mr. andMrs.DougNlelson of Ogden, came to be with Jeanette Hollingshead, for her graduation, and to visit with Marshall Hollingshead and family. Mr. and Mrs. Royal Wood from Henderson, Nevada, were in town visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jameson, Jame-son, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood and Mrs. Virgene Jameson. One day Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter, and Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall came out and we all drove to the snow on Mt. Home, and made ice cream. Mr. and Mrs. NeilRehn-strom, NeilRehn-strom, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rehnstrom, from La-vem, La-vem, California, were dinner din-ner guests at Mr. and Mrs. Chris Marshall's on Tuesday. Tues-day. They brought their daughter, Becky, and children, home with them to spend some time. Also her daughter, and husband hus-band from Illinois, Nellie and Don Long, are her house guests, in Minersville. For Sunday dinner they had 23 family members present. The Minersville Auxiliary has been working on painting paint-ing the cemetery fence. Shirley Hollingshead, and Farrell Housen, and Martha Knotts, visited with Doug and Elma Blackburn, and also visited the cemetary on Memorial Day. Weekend guests at Nettie Myers' home were Doug and Colleen Farnow, from Las Vegas, Dorothy Sam, and Susan Johnson, from Cal-fornia, Cal-fornia, Sam Johnson, and family, from Salt Lake City, and Jenifer and Clair Wix-on, Wix-on, from Provo, and Ila and Kathy Myers from Idaho. Mrs. Maxine Bailey , and Mrs. Gladys Stubbs, are here for a visit with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall. Mar-shall. They are also doing some painting and papering for their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall Mar-shall and Lester Roberts drove to Denver to see their horses run. Mrs. Molly Taylor is home after having surgary in Provo. Many horse race fans enjoyed en-joyed the races in Parowan over the three day holiday. At the home of Wayne Gillins for the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clark, and family, from Cedar City, and Mrs. Debbie Hutchings and family, from Aurora. At the home of Gladys Myers fo,r a meeting to organize the Moroni Myers family. Kent Myers called the meeting. Vance and Lulah Fisher, from California, Cali-fornia, and Jeanette Stoker, of Cedar City, Helen Gillins, Gil-lins, and Mitch and Beth Fisher, Carol and Rex Carter, Car-ter, and Doug Blackburn were all in attendance. Betterment Better-ment Club received an award in appreciation for Service to the School. Anna Rae Carter, special award for helping with the Christmas production the past three years. Ryan Marshall received the Student Body President Award, and several others. Todd McMullin, Student Body Vice president award; Thane Marshall, Secretary and Reporter Re-porter award. School Spelling Bee Trophies Tro-phies were given to the class champions and the School team. Awards were also given to the School Track winners.
