Show Lake City. He was a member of the LDS Church and graduate grad-uate of MHS, having lived here many years - before moving to Tooele. He played on Milford's basketball team and was an excellent athlete. He was employed by McFarland and ' Hullinger Company. He served as mayor of Ophir for eight years and resided in Ophir for 43 years. Survivors include: wife of Ophir; sons and daughter, James B. of Coeur d'Alene, ' Idaho, John Austin of Tooele, Mrs. Clifford (Gladys) Aze-lia Aze-lia of Ogden; five grandchildren; grandchil-dren; two brothers and four sisters, Deloy of Merced, Calif., Donald William of Salt Lake, Mrs. Drucilla Speakman of Salt Lake, Mrs. Elva Watson of Titus ville, ; Pa., Mrs . Helen Bracken of Victoria, Texas, and Mrs. Jeanette Kohler of Milford. Services were held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Sept. 28, in the Stockton Ward. Interment in the Tooele Cemetery by Tate Mortuary. FORMER BLACK ROCK RESIDENT DIES Word has been received that Hattie Scott, formerly of Black Rock, Utah, died Monday, August 29, 1977, in a Los Angeles hospital after a long illness. She was 64. Services were conducted in Los Angeles, Friday, September Sep-tember 2, with burial at Angeles Abby ParkandMau-soleum ParkandMau-soleum in Compton, Calif. Hattie is survived by her sister, Ludy Kimble, and many nieces and nephews, all of Los Angeles. Out-of-town friends and relatives attending the services ser-vices were Mr. Edward (Scotty) Scott and friend, Mr. Martinez, Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hatch and Silvia Dodson, Bakers -field, Calif. John V, Skinner John Vincent Skinner, age 63, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 25, 1977, inaToo-ele inaToo-ele hospital.
