Show land in order to gain access ac-cess to coal in the state lease, build a tram road from the mine site to an existing county -maintained road across NRL for the purpose of hauling coal by truck, and special use of 145 acres of BLM -administered land for the stockpiling stock-piling and processing of coal mined from the lease. BLM ISSUES COAL LEASES The issuance of several permits by the Bureau of Land Management to the 5M Corporation of Hurricane, Hurri-cane, Utah, is expected to encourage development of coal on state -owned land in Kane County. According to Paul L. Howard, BLM Utah State Director, permits were issued is-sued to 5M Corp., October Octo-ber 21, authorizing tunnel construction, road rights-of-way and special use of national resource lands (NRL) needed by 5M to develop de-velop and extract coalfrom a state mineral lease approximately ap-proximately 50 miles northeast of Glen Canyon C ity, Kane County.
