Interior's Bureau of Land Management prepared the interagency report with as -sistance from the Department's Depart-ment's Geological Survey and the Bureau of Mines. The proposal would involve in-volve construction of an alunite processing plant, open -pit mine, water system sys-tem and transportation system. The project would employ approximately 1,000 workers in the Beaver Beav-er County area of Utah. The plant complex would produce pro-duce annually about 500,-000 500,-000 tons of alumina, 370,-000 370,-000 tons of potassium sulphate sul-phate fertilizer, 1.7 million mil-lion tons of phosphate fertilizer fer-tilizer and 20,000 tons of aluminum fluoride.
