Grant and Blanche Pryor went to Ogden Friday to visit vis-it their son Jay and wife Janice and family. Collette Hodge and daughter Sherry went as far as Tooele with them. They had been visiting visit-ing with the Pryor families for a week. Mark and Vickie Thompson Thomp-son and sons of Colorado visited over the weekend with parents, Leon and Marge Thompson. Don and Clara Charles and children of Henderson, Nev. were weekend visitors of their parents, Floyd and Beulah Wood. Justin and Noreen Gray and family of Enoch visited Sunday with parents, Delmer and Ilene Gray. Wednesday evening the Happy Miners heldtheir get-together get-together at the school house. Polluck was the evening meal and games were played the balance of the evening. Clark and Mary Gillins traveled to Kanab last Sunday Sun-day to spend the day with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gillins and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gibson and family of Logan spent Saturday and Sunday visiting their mother, Aletha Gillins. Jay and Rhoda Brown and son Gary and his wife of Las Vegas were here over the weekend visiting. Monday they attended the funeral of Rhoda's aunt. Agnes Whorn-ham, Whorn-ham, in Beaver. Kenneth and Audrey Frai-ley Frai-ley of Tooele spent the weekend week-end visiting parents, Vance and Connie Marshall. Tuesday afternoon this reporter re-porter traveled to Hurricane to spend a few days visiting a friend, Loretta Albean. Wednesday I accompanied the Senior Citizens of Hurricane Hurri-cane and St. George, as their guest, to Las Vegas to attend at-tend dinner and a show, Gary and Mary Lou Perkins Per-kins and family of American Fork spent the weekend vis -iting their parents, Truman and Merle Bradfield. Brandon Payne, son of Dan and TaMara Payne, was 2 years old Monday, Jan. 26. He invited a few little friends to a party that afternoon. Norma Aubrey and Carla Mcintosh of Salt Lake visit- DelRoy Craw has gone to Salt Lake to attend the police officers academy for eight week's training in police work. Larry Bailey suffered a badly cut leg Thursday while he was cutting a board with the skill saw when it slipped and cut his leg. It required 22 stitches on the outside besides be-sides many inside stitches to close the wound. Kay and Diane Cummings of Cedar City were Sunday visitors of their parents, Keith and Shirley Hollings-head. Hollings-head. Kent and Pam Swindle -hurst and family of Nevada spent the weekend visiting their parents, Tex and Vie Marshall. Russell and Eva Guymon of St. George were Sunday visitors of their brothers and sisters, Darwin and Vivian Vi-vian Marshall and Newell and Theo Marshall. Mr. and Mrs.Duard Evans of Milford visited Sunday with Clarence and Wanda Corbridge. Thursday evening a pre-dedication pre-dedication banquet was held at the church. Barbequebeef and all the trimmings was served to about 400 people. After the supper a program ' was given with June Pearson Pear-son as the MC .
