Show GRANDSONS PERFORM IN LAGOON BAND How many of you spent at least one day at Lagoon last summer? Did you notice the snappy little band that played play-ed daily at 7:00 p.m. and other hours on Saturdays and Sundays? Well, if you did, you saw the pride and joy of a Mil-ford Mil-ford grandmother, Mrs. Dora Johnson. Her grandsons, Kevin and Clifford Pedersen, are members of the 30-member band that is almost as popular popu-lar as the giant roller coaster. coast-er. " Dispelling the myth that high school bands are dull, these Davis High students, under the direction of Gregg Hanson, incorporate funky dance steps with their jazzy brand of music. In bright red, yellow and orange shirts, and white pants, they wind their way through the pavilions and midway, entertaining all with whom they come in contact. Kevin plays the baritone and Cliff the slide trombone. They are sons of Mr. Harold Pedersen and the late Sandra Johnson Pedersen. They reside re-side in Kaysville. |
