Show X BEAVER BUZZIN'S i1 Gail Webster 438-2233 Cancer Society's Utah office made a fewremarks and then showed a film, "Breast Cancer Can-cer - How Far Have We Gone". Following this was a talk by Mrs. Delia Garfield of Cedar City who had ex- ! perlenced a mastectomy. Displays were on the walls from Val Smith's 5th grade ',' room and pamphlets were available. The 2nd Ward Relief Society So-ciety held a party Wednesday evening and Invited their husbands. It was the annual birthday celebration of the ; founding of the Relief Society. So-ciety. Other wards are " having special programs this week during the regular Tuesday meeting. Congratulations . to our basketball team. We surely are proud of your efforts. Beaver seemed very quiet on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, while students and interested adults were in Provo at the tournament. It was quite an experience for all who went and we appreciate the time and energy expended by Coaches Parsons and Al-brecht, Al-brecht, the players, and the rest of you who work with the team! Wednesday evening the joint PTA's of Belknap and Beaver High School sponsored sponsor-ed a program put on by the American Cancer Society.
