David Thomas of Calif, has been visiting his grandmo-ents, grandmo-ents, Marcine and Sylva Davis, Da-vis, for a week. Monday evening Shirley Myers was hostess to a baby shower in honor of Tonya Taylor. Many lovely gifts were recieved for the new baby. Games were played and a delicious fruit cup and cake were served to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. David Williams Wil-liams and family, Las Vegas, visited Monday with Max and Anna Rae Carter. Bill Fails, Or em, was here Friday and Saturday visiting his parents, Dal ton and Merle Fails. He came down to attend the Milford -Beaver gootball game Friday night. Phyllis Truman was in Provo Monday visiting her . daughter, Jan and family. Steve and Kathy Larson, and children of Salt Lake spent the Labor Day week end visiting their parents, Karl and Phyllis Truman. Visiting over the weekend with Ellis and Roene Nelson Nel-son was Roene's brother and family. George Robinson and son Freezone is for corns that hurt. Ernest and Shirley Myers had as Sunday dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Myers, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myers, Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. David Myers, Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Taylor, Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Foreman, St. George; and all their families. Chris and Marilee Eyre and son of Provo visited ov- er Labor Day with their parents, par-ents, Dale and Carla Eyre. Leland and Karen Banks and sons of Caliente were here over the weekend at the home of Wells and Imel-da Imel-da Banks. Sunday in Fast and Testimony Test-imony meeting one baby was blessed and named; a daughter daugh-ter of Scott and Joyce Pearson Pear-son was named Jennifer Joyce by her grandfather, Vendon Myers. The following girls were given certificates of graduation from Primary: Toni Marshall, Evelyn Ken-ner, Ken-ner, Lesa Charles, Dodle Davis and Debbie Carter. Horace and Madge Carter Cart-er traveled to Provo over the weekend to attend Fast meeting there and to witness the blessing and naming of a great-grandchild. They were visitors of Dewightand Mae Carter. Keith and LaNell Dotson and sons were in Superior, Wyo. visiting with LaNell's father. Allen and Colleen Jameson Jame-son and son visited their parents, Delbert and Effie Jameson, over Labor Day weekend. Wednesday evening the Senior Se-nior Citizens enjoyed a pot-luck pot-luck supper at the Miners-ville Miners-ville campground. Also Wednesday Wed-nesday night the young-married group met at the grounds for a get-together. Bruce Davis and a friend of Salt Lake and ClarkDavis of Pleasant Grove visited a few days with their parents, Neal and Helen Davis. Keith and Marsha Dalton and children of Hurricane spent the weekend visiting Bill and Margaret Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Evans of Henderson, Nev. were here for a few days visit with Arshal and Lela Evans. Grant and Blanche Pry-or Pry-or were in Midway for a few days visit with relatives. Brose and Bertha Dalton, Mesa, Ariz., visited with Bertha's brother, Frank Pryor, and other relatives for a few days. Roland and Lona Fowles were here visiting relatives for a few days. Marie Talty, Ogden, is here visiting her sister, Frieda (and Bill) Wood. Paul Crane, Battle Mountain, Moun-tain, was here for afewdays visiting his grandmother, Armina Banks. Saturday George and Laretta Banks, Caliente, visited and on Sunday, Sun-day, Neal andBarbaraRehn-strom andBarbaraRehn-strom visited with Armina. Wednesday and Saturday a group of friends traveled to the Manti Temple to do endowment work. Visiting Sunday with Vendon Ven-don and LaRayne Myers was Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Puffer, Puf-fer, Beaver, and Ralph and Christie Myers and son of Cedar City. Lu and June Griffiths are in Salt Lake. Lu underwent surgery on his knee at the Holy Cross Hospital. They will be gone for a week at least. Chuck and Susie Martin, Draper, visited the Craw families for a few days during dur-ing the week. Beverly Craw was home visiting her parents, Jack and Lorna Craw, over the weekend. She is teaching school in Manti, Utah. Lester and Leona Roberts have gone to McMlnnville, Ore. to visit their children there for a few weeks. Emily Dotson went to Salt Lake for a few days visit |
