Show Bus Hearing Shows Need; Companies Have Doubts crowd. Mr. H. Van Ingelgum, Traffic Manager for Continental Trail-ways, Trail-ways, stated that his company was only running one line between Salt Lake and Cedar City at Present and that he did ,not believe they would be able to help the community out, but that like Mr. Johnson he would file a report with his superiors. The Delta City Attorney then commented with some very interesting points as did the owrer of the defunct Delta Stage Line and its driver. The meeting then adjourned leaving a decision for future meetings. The meeting brought both discouragement to those who expected immediate action and encouragement, to those who know, that anything worthwhile, takes time. Approximately 80 to 100 people peo-ple interested in getting a bus route established through Milford, Mil-ford, attended a public hearing at the Milford High Auditorium Tuesday night. Besides officials from the Dept. of Commerce, and representatives rep-resentatives of Continental Trailways and Greyhound Lines there were representatives from Minersville, Delta, Eureka, and several other communities to the north. He felt (hat rerouiing of a schedule of one of the major lines, carrying inter as well as intra-state passengers would b.i feasible. Mr. Lyle Johnson, representing represent-ing Greyhound Lines, stated that he thought it possible for a local person to run a small bus from Milford to connect with their lines in Beaver, and of course, from Delta to Fillmore. Mr. Johnson, saed that he was not in a position to make any decision himself, but wo"ld file a full report to his superiors super-iors in San Francisco, and that they would make the decision.
