' .j - , i - , 1 rSs, ,1 " ' " - C VS ' " - ; : 1 S f i f I ' r ; t W 1 Richard Easton Richard Edwards Six boys will represent West Beaver County at Utah Boys State sponsored by the American Amer-ican Legion at the Utah State University at Logan, Utah from June 6 to June 12. Chosen to represent the Milford Mil-ford Legion Post are Richard Easton, Richard Edwards, Casey Williams, and Robert Albrecht. Robert Fisher and Les Finch were chosen alternates. Those boys who will represent repre-sent Minersville at the Utah Boys State this year are Chris Eyre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre and Kenneth Perkes, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMon Perkes. They were chosen last week by the Minersville Post 81 of the American Legion. Boys' State is a plan for training in the functional aspects as-pects of citizenship. It is a program pro-gram of education sponsored by The American Legion, Dept. of Utah. Its purpose is to teach the youth of today constructive attitudes toward the American form of government. Boys' State attempts to show that our scheme of government, has not outworn its usefulness; that all a democracy needs is an intelligent administration responsive to the will of the people. REGION EIGHT TRACK MEET The Milford Tigers track squad will take part in the Region 8 track meet in Cedar today, Thursday, May 6, according ac-cording to school spokesmen.
