Show JOSEPH E. JACKSON ELECTED TO STATE BAR COMMISSION Joseph E. Jackson, Milford attorney, was elected to the Utah State Bar Commission during recent elections held by members of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Jackson will serve a three-year term on the nine-member nine-member commission. The results of the election were announced at the Bar Association's dinner party at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake June 26th. The dinner party was the concluding event of the 1970 annual convention. The nine-member commission commis-sion manages and conducts the affairs of the members of the Utah State Bar. The member- . ship in the Utah State Bar is now in excess of 1500 attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Utah. Joe Jackson is a member of the firm of Cline, Jackson & Jackson, Milford. A native of Fillmore, he graduated from the U. of U. College of Business Busi-ness in 1958, and received his Juris Doctor's Degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1961. He has been associated with the Cline firm since 1963. SCHEDULE CHANGE NOTED The time of the regular morning worship service of the Milford Community United Methodist Church has been set for 9:00 a.m. during the rest of the year. The first service at this new time will be this Sunday, July 5. Under this new schedule, the Beaver Christian Fellowship will meet at 7:30 a. m., basement base-ment of the Public Library in Beaver; the Milford Community United Methodist Church services serv-ices will be at 9 a. m., and the Delta Community United Presbyterian Church will meet at 11:15 a. m. The Rev. Jim Sloan serves all three of the churches. HOME ON FURLOUGH; GOING TO VIETNAM Dale Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Rogers, was home on furlough last week. This week Dale will leave for active duty with the U.S. Army in Vietenam. |
