Show 1 CITY DADS HAVE ROUTINE MEETING Mr. Gilbert, representing the Union Pacific Railroad, met with the City Council last week and offered 'the city the (J P water well, , tank and pumps. The City. Dads tooks the matter under! advisement, pending further information. On motion of ; Councilman Pymond, $1,000 was transfererd from the Water Utility Fund to the General Fund. Councilman Jimenez advised that the Lions Club is interested inter-ested in leasing the race track for the purpose of holding race meets. Mr. Jimenez was instructed to advise the Lions as to improvements which must be made at the track before a race meet can be held. The Council considered installing in-stalling a cement gutter next to hte Chevron Station, and instructed in-structed that the Chevron district dis-trict manager be advised that the cost would be $250. |
