Show THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Ross and Judy (Wilcock) Workman had their first baby, a daughter weiging 6 lbs 6 oz, in Salt Lake on Jan. 3. The little lady was named Mildred Geneva. On Jan. 20 uncle John D. Wilcock of Hurricane and Mr. and Mrs. Usher Wilcock Wil-cock ivvent to Salt Lake to see the newcomer. 0 Mrs. Claire Lee Lewis is now employed as a waitress at the Hong Kong Cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and children, new residents, are living in the Arleigh Campeau rental home, e Doug Baxter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter, has returned re-turned to his U S Air Force assignment in England after a visit with home folks. His parents par-ents accompanied him as far as the Salt Lake airport. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter entertained at dinner Sunday in observance of the birth anniversaries an-niversaries of her two brothers, broth-ers, Jack and Bruce Fothering-ham. Fothering-ham. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fotheringham of Springdale, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fotheringham and children Mrs. Myrtle Mills of Jrovo is on a week's vaaction. She s '?nt Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline and Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw. On Tuesday she left for Las Vegas, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Grimshaw, to visit the Doug Farnows. Milton Pool is in Salt Lake because of the serious illness of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Robinson, who is suffering from complications following major surgery in Holy Cross Hospital. Another daughter, Mrs. Ruth McWhorter of Denver, Den-ver, is also in Salt Lake. Mrs. Lela Gilliam is now at home after receiving medical treatment in Salt Lake. 0 Mr. and Mrs. George Connell are in Salt Lake on a pleasure trip. Mrs. Virginia Grimes is in Long Beach, Calif., visiting her sister, Mrs. Glenna Foley. School attendance is almost back to normal after a siege of flu at both the Elementary School and High School. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Treat l spent a few days in Caliente visiting Mrs. Mary White. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sackett of Huntington Beach, Calif., spent last week end with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline. Mrs. Cline and Mr. Sackett are cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grimes of Bountiful were in Milford over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Friar were in Salt Lake Friday evening eve-ning attending an A T & T party at the Desert Inn. Also attending the party were former for-mer Milford residents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hopkins and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McWhorter. Reports of the death of Marine Mar-ine Bozarth in Las Vegas caused apprehension for Milford Mil-ford and Minersville folks, until un-til it was learned tfhat the Max-ine Max-ine Bozarth is not the former Milford resident of that name. The Maxine Bozarth wlho formerly for-merly lived in Milford is now residing in the East. Allen Weston of Salt Lake spent the (week end visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Weston. I Scott and Debra, and Mrs. ' Ireta Fotheringham of Cedar City. O Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen Han-sen and sons Douglas and Lee K. of Richfield arrived Sunday morning and prepared dinner for Mrs .Hansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Koch. Also present were the Koch's daughters daugh-ters and sons in law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Cook and Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Handley. e William L. Long, son of Jesse E. Long, is in San Diego, Calif., for basis training with the U. S. Navy. He expects to be assigned to a Medical Technician Tech-nician schc;!. Jesse E. Long II':, on of Principal Jesse E. Long, will be graduated in February from the Navy Electronics school at Great Lakes, Mich. He expects to be assigned to a nuclear submarine sub-marine training center. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Weston announce the birth of a son, Jan. 28, in Hayward, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards are grandparents, and great-grandparents great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Weston. B Ben Price attended a union signal meeting in Los Angeles last week end. Vernon Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Erickson, has enlisted in the U S Navy and is now at San Diego, Calif., for basic training. Mrs. Leah Foerster of Boun-!
