Show EH.! L.- a a Dear Steve: Having read, and re-read, many times, Mr. Bolton's letter in your paper of Jan. 25, I still have difficulty convincing myself my-self that the words are true. As a business man, I can only speak for myself, but I venture to say that other people peo-ple with investments on Main Street will endorse my opinion 100 when I state that we sincerely sin-cerely hope for growth and progress for Milford and will contribute in any way possible to improving our city and making mak-ing a bigger and better Milford. I am truly happy that Mr. Bolton is not indicting Main Street business or I would be . much more alarmed by his letter let-ter than I already am. If Mr. Bolton, as he states, does fear growth and progress then I can only interpret his attitude as being anti-growth and anti-progress. This, if true, raises a question in my mind: What was his aim or goal in seeking election to a responsible position of administering adminis-tering the business of our city? If not to build, then it must be to destroy. There is no half-way. No, Main Street does not fear growth and progress, but we surely do fear an administration administra-tion that does.
