Show LEGION AUXILIARY TO SELL FLAGS Milford Unit No. 16 of The American Legion Auxiliary is offering U. S. Flags to the community, and 15 of the flags have already been sold to local lo-cal residents. Mrs. Ardath Out-zen, Out-zen, Americanism chairman, reports that the organization will take orders for additional flags, and will make personal delivery. Orders may be placed by phoning Mrs. Outzen at 387-2343, 387-2343, or Pat Williams at 387-2881. 387-2881. The Milford Unit will nominate nomi-nate Mrs. Naomi Hughes as their candidate for Utah's Mother of the Year. Tho Auxiliary will sponsor their annual essay contest for Milford High School students, on the subect "Americanism: What It Means to Me." Mrs. Judy Briscoe reported that Savings Stamp sales to date at the Elementary School amount to $456.50. Plans were made for the annual an-nual public card party, and the ladies will sponsor a "Back to God" program, asking each church in the community to participate at one of their January Jan-uary services. Members attending included Mrs. Vilate Lang, president; Mrs. Outzen, Mrs. Lisabeth McKee, Mrs. Letha Smyth, Mrs. Briscoe, Mrs. Magdalena White, Mrs. Nina Bingham, Mrs. Pat Williams, Mrs. Wilna Swain, Mrs. Naomi Hughes, Mrs. Metta Weston and Mrs. Bonnie Friar, and Mrs. Naomi Hughes. |
