Show j DAIRYMEN TO TOUR I ARIZONA AND CALIFORNIA AREAS Beaver County dairymen will tour dairies in Maricopa County, Coun-ty, Ariz., and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in California next week, according to Grant Esplin, Beaver County Coun-ty Agent. The group wil Heave Monday morning, Jan. 29, and travel to Riverside, Calif., and tour modern dairies in the Riverside River-side and San Bernardino areas Jan. 30 and 31, with County Agents Shirl Bishop and James C. Oliver, and Agricultrual Engineer En-gineer Bill Fairbanks conducting conduct-ing the tour. On Thursday, Feb. 1, they will tour dairies in the Phoenix area, under direction of Maricopa Mari-copa County Agent Otis Lough. Dr. Wayne Ringer, Extension Agricultural Engineer from Utah State University, will accompany ac-company the group. Members of the new Minersville Miners-ville Dairy Co-op are making the tour to study dairy enter-prizes enter-prizes to help them in planning their new dairy setup. Anyone inteersted is invited to participate, Mr. Esplin said. Persons wishing to make the tour may contact Mr. Esplin, Vern Wood, Jeff Marshall, or other members of the Minersville Miners-ville association. Travel will be by private automobile. |
