The coaches and j the team gained experience j from Delta and they are en-' en-' thusiastic about this game. The Tigerettes will also present ; their first march during half-time. half-time. Bonnie Pc-kins, drill mistress, and Kathy Gillins, i assistant drill mistress, will be directing the march to the sound of "Whip Cream." Game time is 8:00 ... Be There! o Tlieo Smith, student body piesident, conducted the first Student Council meeting of the year. The members discussed Homecoming, Student Council procedures, and class projects and activities. They also se- j lected committees to choose a Homecoming theme and plan a Student Council float. A riding club was organized by Miss Blake and interested MHS'ers. At their meeting they discussed some of the things they would like to do and made plans for the election elec-tion of club officers. The club will have to write a constitution constitu-tion and present it to Mr. Long before it can be officially recognized. rec-ognized. During the past week Milford High gained three more new students Kay Cornwall, Judy Jones and Leander Manygoats. All three are in the sophomore sopho-more class. o The cheerleaders, under direction di-rection of Shauna Van Tassel, head cheerleader, have been holding pep rallies and assemblies as-semblies to build up school spirit. Judging by the response from the students and the team, they're doing a g-g-great job. o "The same as last year TiaJuana Brass!'' is the reply Mr. Winkle gave when asked what the MHS Band will be doing this year. They will also attend Band Days and the Small and Large Groups Festival Festi-val this year. A Pep Band will also be formed to play at the sports activities. |
