Show Lake spent several days last week with her husband, B. J. Roberts, who was here on Union Pacific business. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Clements Clem-ents have returned from a vacation va-cation trip to Washington and Canada. In North Bend, Wash., they stopped to see their son Craig. e Mrs. Margaret Guibel of Salt Lake and Mrs. Ethel Wheeler of Beaver were here Monday. Mrs. Guibel was visiting her son and daughter in law, Loy and Ethel Wheeler Wheel-er in Beaver. C Mrs. Susan Eppich of Salt Lake is here for a 10-day visit vis-it with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter McCulley. Recently Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hutchings and Mrs.- Hutchings' brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Shcpard, enjoyed en-joyed a week's trip to Lake Powell and Panguitch Lake. O Gordon Murdock and son Joe of Santa Rosa, Calif., are spending a week in Beaver County visiting Gordon's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Muvdcck in Milford, young Joe's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Johnson in Beaver, and fishing in the Beaver Mountains. Joan and Hal Edwards will enroll at the BYU for the fall quarter, e Jack Bardsley will spend his vacation in Sacramento, Calif., visiting his sister Maxine. ft Joyce Moore of Salt Lake spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Moore. e Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gale of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Miller recently enjoyed en-joyed a stay at Park City. Mrs. Gale is Mr. Miller's sister. A Jess and Clarice Cook of Salt Lake recently visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith. Grandpa and Grandma Doug Gilliam announce the birth of Ronald Gilbert Whitlock, son of Sielney and Adurey Whitlock, Whit-lock, Sept. 1, in Lynnwod, Calif. Jack Davis and Dixie Lamb took their uncle, Ross Fother-ingham, Fother-ingham, to the Veterans Hospital Hos-pital Saturday. Mr. Fother-ingham Fother-ingham suffered a heart attack Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lamb will leave Sept. 15 for ten days to attend the Sovereign Grand Lodge sessions of the Odd Fellows Fel-lows in Calgary, Canada. Mr. Lamb is Grand Representative for the State of Utah. Mrs. Ella Nagely of Salt Lake, mother of A. T. Miller, is at the Miller home recuperating recup-erating from eye surgery she underwent in Cedar City. O Mrs. Dorothy Roberts of Salt three months recuperating from a broken foot. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith were in Beaver Aug. 31 to attend at-tend funeral services for a brother in law, Allen James Blackner. 0 Bob Rollins received a furlough fur-lough from his U S Army duties du-ties at Ft. Rucker, Ala., after receiving word he was to become be-come a father. His wife, Ileene, gave birth to a son on Sept. 3, and Bob arrived after the blessed event. . C Albert and Sharon Allman and daughter Susan of Logan and Mrs. Carol Bradshaw and two daughters of Minersville, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris All-man All-man spent last week end at Kolob in the Cedar Mountains. Mrs. Florence Barnes went to Barstow, Calif., to get her sister, Mrs. Mary Singleton, who had suffered a heart attack. at-tack. The sisters and brothers in law of the two ladies gathered gath-ered at the Barnes Ranch last week end. Included were Mrs. Ruby Hollis of Ogden, Bill and Norma Thompson, their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lassoon, all of Las Vegas. Mrs. Singleton will remain re-main with Mr. and Mis. Barnes for an indefinite stay. Enjoying the Labor Day vacation va-cation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon were their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Coon and children chil-dren Kim, Sharla and Stacy Lynn, all of La Mirada, Calif. While here they enjoyed a two day stay at Puffers Lake. Accompanying Ac-companying them were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Coon. Mrs. Hattie Scott was in Los Angeles last week to get her sister, Ludy Kimble, who will spend two weeks with the Scotts while they enjoy their vacation.
