Show PENNSYLVANIA MASONS UNVEIL STATUE AT FREEDOMS FOUNDATION More than 10,000 members of the Masonic fraternity and their families gathered at Freedoms Free-doms Foundation in historic Valley Forge on Sept. 9 to unveil un-veil and dedicate a nine-foot statue of George Washington at prayer. The Hon. Wilber M. Bruckcr, former Governor of Michigan and the Secretary of the Army for 5 years during the Eisenhower Eisen-hower administration, delivered the principal dedicatory ad- d' Robert E. Deyoe, the Grand Master of Masons of Pennsylvania, Pennsyl-vania, presented the statue as a oift to Freedoms Foundation by "the more than 250,000 members mem-bers of the Masonic fraternity in Pennsylvania. After the public ceremony the Masons attended a dedication dedica-tion banquet and heard Dr Kenneth D. Wells, president of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, give the dinner speech. The imposing bronze statue overlooks the 52-acre Congressional Congres-sional Medal of Honor Grove at Freedoms Foundation. |
