The American Legion Auxiliary Aux-iliary met at the home of Mrs. Vie Marshall last Wednesday. Mrs. Dorothy Wood, president, conducted the meeting. Jetta Pearson, Girls Stater, gave a report on the Girls State sessions ses-sions held in Logan last June. 9 Mrs. Gwen Pryor is confined to the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital with blood clots in her leg. O Mrs. Florence Wood entertained enter-tained her canasta club last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Limb and family of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb of Beaver, and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson Jame-son recently enjoyed a day in the Beaver Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. John Carter have moved to Cedar City. O Edith Bradfield is now at home, after staying at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albie Carter. She suffered a fall, but was not seriously injured. Gaye Pryor had a birthday party, Saturday evening, observing ob-serving her 12th birthday. Gary Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Carter of Cedar City, is in the U S Army stationed sta-tioned at Ft. Lewis, Wash. e Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Banks and family of Idaho recently visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Banks. O Kristie Eyre celebrated her fourth birthday with a party on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jameson Jame-son celebrated their 24th wedding wed-ding anniversary on Sept. 3 toy attending the State Fair in Salt Lake nad visiting a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jameson. C The VFW Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. Pauline Wood on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Attending Attend-ing were Mrs. LaPrele Lewis, Mrs. Neva Kinross, Mrs. Sade Griffiths, Mrs. Ethel Smith, Mrs. Wilna Swain, Mrs. Mag-dalena Mag-dalena White, all of Milford; Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Florence Wood and Mrs. Dorothy Wood. |
