Show CITY OFFICERS ISSUE WARNING ON SNOW REMOVAL Milford's city marshals have issued warnings of impending action against violators of ordinances ordi-nances pertaining to snow removal, re-moval, and ignoring blockades on "Test Hill," where children are sleigh riding. They pointed out that a city ordinance requires residents to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks within three hours after the snow has stopped stop-ped falling; in cases where the storm is between the hours of 5 p. m. and 6 a. m., residents are allowed 10 hours to remove snow from sidewalks. The officers emphasized that violation of the ordinance calls for a fine of from ?5 to $25 and jail sentence up to 10 days, or both. Marshals Eddie Patterson and H. C. Cook were very emphatic emphat-ic about their promise to enforce en-force the blockade of Test Hill for children sleigh riders. They promise "an example" of the first motorist caught crossing one of the blockades. |
